Our aim to is offer you an experience as close to you coming to ride your own horse with the support of a professional guide and the company of riders who have been carefully chosen to have a compatable level of experience.

All rides are guided, where possible, by the owner of Stonetrail, Alison Muir, who over the last 14 years has carefully guided hundreds of riders across the Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales, supported by a fabulous team of helpers who join the rides as escorts and work tirelessly to take care of our wonderful horses.   From our gate we have direct access onto the open fell  with an extensive choice of  routes with plenty of opportunities for some great canters. Our routes follow bridleways across the fells, through hidden dales and quiet village lanes around Ravenstonedale.
